The escalating cost of higher education is causing many to
question the value of continuing education beyond high
school. The high costs of tuition, opportunity cost of choosing college over employment and the accumulation of thousands of
dollars of debt make many wonder whether all these problems justify the
investment. The risk is especially large for low-income families who have a difficult time making ends meet without the
additional burden of college tuition and other fees.
there is evidence that
the rate of return on investment is high enough to justify it in spite of costy college degree. College
graduates earn more than high school graduates. It never diappear in spaite of variation of differential over time.

Book Review
One the first wall, Chang drew a pearl-white dragon. The dragon breathed out clouds of steam. There have been so many dragon related storys in China, the story in this book is one of them. Many hundreds years ago there was a painter who was called Chang, whose painting were so true to life that when peajons saw the eagle he painted, they were scared and flew away. The Emperor of China in that time ordered Chang to paint his new temple. Chang painted four dragons on the walls of the temple, but strangely he did not paint any eyes into the dragons...
It looked perfect, except for one thing. The dragon had no eyes.

Day after day, I walk to the train station. The train comes at half past five. Hachiko is always there too. We wait for my dad and Dr Ueno. The story of this book is about a faithfull dog named "Hachiko". I think every Japanese has heard this name. It is a very famous dog in Japan. I am afraid not all Japanese kwow the story in detail. Hachiko is Dr Ueno's dog. Hachiko went to Shibuya station and waited for his host Dr Ueno to come back. Hachiko went there every evening, even after Dr Ueno was dead. "I" is a son of Dr Ueno's friend. "I"liked Hachiko, and all the people liked Hachiko, too.

Self introduction
Hello! I'm K. Yokoyama. I'm a student of Kumamoto University. pharmacy department now. I'm from Toyama Prefecture,Honshu.I've lived in China for several years. I lived in the city of Yantai ,Qingdao, Shenyang, and Shanghai. I was a Japanese teacher there. My wife is Chinese.Marriage less than one year. I'm a late commer to college because of long time illness in my neck and back. I 'd like to help patients cure his or her own illness in the future. Shanghai is the same lattitude as Kumamoto, but I think Shanghai is hotter than Kumamoto. More than 38 centigrade is common there in the summer, 34 still at 21 o'clock. How unconfortable! It's very cold in Shenyang City. Shenyang is loccated in the north-east area in China. You can see very clear sky in the winter if the weather is good. You cannot see that in Kumamoto or my hometown Toyama. I taught not only Japanese conversation but also history of Japanese literature, Japanese economy, ancient Japanese and so on. Before I went to China I worked as an insurrance agent with my father for ten years. Now my brother works with my father.
